WHAT DID I DO WITH LILYBUD?

I’ve recorded percussion for Lily Bud on her debut EP ‘The Tide Is Turning’.

We recorded it a Bark Studios, Blackhorse Road with Brian O’Shaughnessy. We spent around half a day experimenting with different percussion and ideas for the tracks. Like shakers, tambourines, congas etc.

The studio was very homely and was full of history. Brian has worked with many artists including Primal Scream, The Band of Holy Joy, Denim, The Long Blondes, Birdie, Shampoo, ElectricShocks, and My Bloody Valentine to name only just a few of the many artists who have recorded there.

Lily Bud’s track ‘Not In My Name‘ was used on the Labour website in support of Jeremy Corbyn and the Stand Up For Labour campaign in 2017.

Since I first recorded with Lily Bid she has been going from strength to strength. Gaining invaluable experience on the road and gigs and festivals around the UK and Europe with artists such as The Doctors of Madness, Sarah Jane Morris and The Phenomenal Rise of Richard Strange.

We’ve also performed together at several venues around London such as The Royal Albert Hall and Portobello Live Festival in Nottinghill, London.
