WHEN YOU AWAKE YOU WILL REMEMBER NOTHING BIO

In this genre-defying performance, we witness a spellbinding combination of theatre, music, hypnosis, sound collage, dream, film and text as we share the last night of a persecuted man trying to rewrite his life.

Set in an imagined Spanish village in the year of Franco’s death, we watch the lives of the poet Pablo de la Cruz and the local Chief of Police unravel, magically and tragically, before our eyes. We are complicit, yet powerless.

WHAT DID I DO WITH WHEN YOU AWAKE YOU WILL REMEMBER NOTHING?

In December of 2021, Richard Strange asked me if I was free to help him with the sound, lighting, projections and stage management of his new play. He also asked me to build a standing be for Antonio to be used throughout the performance.

The show ran from the 24th of January 2022 until the 6th of February 2022.

Antonio’s son also came to film a few nights of the production to help document the performance and allow Richard and Antonio to apply to international film and art festivals for further performances of their work.

The theatre enjoyed the show’s run so much that they invited us back for a three week run from the 19th of June 2022 until the 7th of July 2022.
